Sunny Weather + Sunny Girls = Sunny Smiles

Hello! Just wanted to log in for a quick update. Many of you are inquiring about Meme, how her weekend was and how she is doing. As you know, fighting cancer has got to be absolutely the hardest process for a human body. So naturally she's been having some good days and some not so good days physically. But this weekend brought lots of happiness as Robin and Michelle came to visit. Robin was able to snuggle in and make some delicious food for her and Papa. Michelle brought baby Ryan, and the three of them were able to love on that baby as Meme's and Mama's do best. Plus Meme was able to take baby Ryan for a little walk out in the glorious sun! In addition, Dave was able to kidnap her from Papa's loving care for a few minutes and take her over to Dairy Queen for her favorite treat ... a Blizzard! She was also able to spend some important moments with John as he's back in town from his work week out of town. Leisa snuck over to check in on her, give a hug and assess the menu for next week. I smell comfort and love coming from Leis in the next few days =) The extended weekend brought some surprise visits from other family too... Auntie Chrissy, Uncle Larry and Andy. This week/end also brought the beautiful, amazing, healing power of sunshine. To walk outside and feel its rays fall on your face you can't help to be reminded of the gentle beauty in life that surrounds us.
